Improving the way providers and patients interact to impact outcomes
Simple, Quick & Affordable.
In today’s value based healthcare, you need patients to actively participate in their own care in order to meet your objectives. So how do you motivate patients and their families to take a more active role?
Studies have shown that patient experience has a high impact on engagement and participation levels which have been directly linked to satisfaction levels and outcomes. When the patient feels like their provides are more engaged and concerned about their care they are more likely to complete tasks that are given to them that helps them avoid complications and speed up their recovery..

- Access to valuable real-time provider and patient data to stimulate dual responsibility for the patient experience and outcome
- The collection and reporting of patient reported outcome surveys to meet current mandates and to help better manage your organization
Does miTRAX report Patient Reported Outcomes to the American Joint Replacement Registry?
The requirement to collect and report PRO data for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) mandate is April 1, 2016. miTRAX collects data using the PROMIS-10, HOOS, Jr. and KOOS, JR. measures. The data can be delivered directly to the ARJJ or into an institution’s EHR for self-reporting.
How does this benefit the patient?
Studies have proven that when patients are better educated and prepared they are more engaged and have better outcomes. A recent Gallup survey reported that satisfaction rates increased by over 25% and problems decreased by 20% when the patients felt like the providers properly educated them and prepared them for a procedure.
Is it easy for the patient to use?
The patient interface is designed to be intuitive and in most cases doesn’t require any kind of training to use it. The patient experience is very similar to the way you use Facebook. We have found that even older patients who don’t regularly use the internet use Facebook as a way of connecting with their extended family and since the miTRAX user experience emulates it any anxiety related to using miTRAX is significantly reduced.
Doesn’t my EHR solution already do this?
Most Electronic Health Record Systems are designed as a repository for the patient’s health information. miTRAX on the other hand is designed to interact with the patient throughout the continuum of a procedure to provide information, ask questions, analyze patient responses, and determine when and how to notify the patient or care givers when something needs additional attention. miTRAX collects information about the provider/patient interactions and can pass this information onto the EHR system through integration to be added to the patient’s permanent record.
